Lucas
I just got my last newsletter for the school year from Lucas’s teachers. I’m a little emotional about it.
When we decided to send the boys to public school this year, it was one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever made.
Homeschooling was my dream. I wanted it to be the right fit, and it was. Until it wasn’t.
This was the best decision for everyone and Mrs. A and Ms. B could not have been more PERFECT for my sweet baby Lucas.
He absolutely loves both of them and they have both been so sweet and obviously genuinely love my boy.
We’ve had one “miss” with a teacher in the past, so I was really nervous to take that leap again. Not every teacher is the right fit and I just couldn’t sit and watch so he came back home.
Nathan
I definitely can’t forget Nathan’s teacher. She is wonderful and an absolute dream as well. He was scared to go to school but she’s made learning so much fun for him.
The communication has been fantastic.
I’ll be honest, sending my LAST BABY to school was really scary. It’s such a final chapter. The last of the little firsts.
Not everyone finds the perfect fit but we just had the best of the best, this year.
I’m looking forward to summer full of swimming and popsicles but this year has really eased my fears. For now, public school is right.
Here’s hoping we get the right matches again next year.
